I am getting v fed up with dp making food and then leaving it out on the kitchen counter overnight before he eats it for breakfast/lunch the next day.

We have had a mouse problem and, despite pest controller sealing the house, have spotted one again last week. One of the things the pest controller said was to keep all food covered and away in fridge/cupboards. We have a ds crawling and don't want yucky carpets.

TBF DP does do some housework but has some kind of mental block with putting food away. It's not a huge deal for me to clean up after him but is a bit of a pain when am on my way to bed when I notice and I don't see why he can't just do it.

Having mentioned it so much am risking nagging, AIBU to think that leaving a mouse floating in his stew would solve problem pretty quickly? You can buy them in pet shops, right, to feed snakes?

Rolled up cut raisins should look convincing.
