to go through Active Convos hitting 'hide' to every thread I don't want to read

before actually reading any threads. I can do this for a good few minutes before my active convo page is tidy enough to actually read something. Then I go and read it and it messes the thole system up again, ad. infinitum.

Is this normal?

I hide all sweary thread titles.

I still haven't hidden Pregnancy although must do that because its mostly "Oh no I've stood next to a piece of pate on toast will bubba be ok?" and gives me the rage.

I hide the disgusting pus ones.They make me heave.

I hide far more threads than I read.

I often read the first few posts of threads that keep rising to the top of 'Active Conversations'. If I'm not interested, I hide them too. The only problem with that strategy is sometimes threads evolve into an interesting conversation!
