I have to admit that MN introduced me to the DM too - its my guilty secret .

I also have to admit that KK's snakeprint trousers were so hideous that I actually felt driven to start a thread about them.

I don't really know why KK is famous but I was gobsmacked that someone who is so publicity driven could be seen wearing such an inappropriate outfit (inappropriate in style/size etc).

I think her pregnancy wardrobe could be quite a source of entertainment .

One of the greatest joys of my dyslexic brains total inability to remember names is I haven't the foggiest idea who any of these people are.

Why, the daily mail= WTF does it exist? I am a DM loather and generally don't click on links. Nasty, racist, misogynistic rag peddling fear and narrow-mindedness.

They're also infatuated with "snookie" who is apparently someone on "Jersey Shore"? I have no idea who or what that is. I think it's a reality show or something. I know a lot about snookie without knowing who she is.

DM has a massive USA readership, it is the 2nd most read online paper, therefore we have to suffer all that American S'leb crap.

I like the DM, it is the easiest to navigate, read (even if I sit there wanting to red pen my screen and point out all their typos, mis information and sack all the clearly obviouly 15yo reporters on work experience) - then I go and read anything I want an unbioased opinion on somewhere else.

As the old saying goes, the only thing you can believe in a newspaper is the date - even then it might be a misprint!

It puzzles me that people are featured in the Mail "sleb column" without any introduction. Are we meant to know who they are? Who is "Kendal Jenner"? Can we not have footnotes?

(I mean, yes, I know we could google them, but you don't normally have to do that when reading sleb gossip columns. I know who, e.g., Daniel Craig and Jennifer Lopez are.)

Nancy has a point. To my erternal shame my parents buy the Mail (print version) and they are in their 70s.

But you have to have the DM Christmas and NY edition though - it has the best quiz and triva spread of all the papers.

It's the number one most read online paper - it overtook the NY Times a while ago.
