To be a bit shocked that Daily Mail are publishing naked pics of Orlando Bloom's child?

Ummm, just perusing the DM website Blush and was shocked that they have naked pics of his child (minimally pixelated) .... I would be absolutely distraught and livid if it was me... AIBU to think this is a step too far, even for the DM?

I dunno, maybe I'm overreacting, I know I wouldn't be happy about it though.

They are slebs and have been for a while. They can't be unaware papping goes with the territory especially in public areas.

I'd have been a bit more interested had it been daddy...

SamuelWestsMistress · 20/02/2013 18:55

Ooooh that's such a lovely, squidgy pair of bum cheeks! Love a peachy little boys bum cheeks, one of the greatest things on this earth.

My DS1 is now 7 and has lost his little boy bum squidge Sad

Luckily I have DS2 who is just 3 and is very ripe and squidgalicious! Grin

Funnily enough DD has never been squidgy at all she is long and lean and slim [green] Definitely minimal amounts of my genes going on there...

SamuelWestsMistress · 20/02/2013 18:57

Oh and YABU, if they were worried about it I think they'd be inside.

I'd love to see Orlandos bum, but that's a whooooole different thread.

PureQuintessence · 20/02/2013 18:57

Maybe the little boy had wet his pants? Had a sore bum? Nappy Rash?

Flisspaps · 20/02/2013 18:58

The first picture they put out of their son was a tweeted pic of him being bf.

I'd say they have a very healthy attitude towards the human body and a lack of unnecessary prudishness.

BreadForMyBREADGUN · 20/02/2013 18:59

Damnit. On my phone the last word of the thread title didn't show up. Damn you op

ChunkyPickle · 20/02/2013 18:59

it's a bare bummed toddler - you see them at the beach all the time, I can't see the interest in the pics, and I don't think it's unreasonable that his parents aren't bothering to cover him up despite paparazzi possibilities.

I doubt that 16 year old him will care at all about naked toddler pics - I know I didn't find them remotely embarrassing (not even the one where I'm in the garden in nothing but wellies and a huge grin).

In fact, I hate this whole 'cover up your kids in case of nasty photographers' thing. It comes a little bit too close to requiring women to cover themselves so they don't tempt the poor men in my opinion. Let kids be kids and run around naked on the beach and photographers be damned.

Sugarice · 20/02/2013 18:59

He's a baby on a beach with a Parent close by.

Don't be distraught and livid, leave that to them if they complain which I'm sure they won't.

squeakytoy · 20/02/2013 19:02

If you dont want the world to see your child naked, then you dont let your child be naked in public, particularly when you are both very famous parents..

It really is that simple..

RichardSimmonsTankTop · 20/02/2013 19:02

What a disgustingly good looking family. Envy

Sugarice · 20/02/2013 19:03

I wish I had her arse! Envy

squeakytoy · 20/02/2013 19:03

And, that is a public beach, the photos were most definately not taken from too far away, and I would bet my last penny they were very aware of the photos being taken.

SilverMoo · 20/02/2013 19:20

I guess I stand corrected, although I still wouldn't be happy with my kids naked in a tabloid, would you guys mind?

OP posts:
catgirl1976 · 20/02/2013 19:22

I wouldn't mind at all. Although DS is not famous so I would be rather surprised

RobinSparkles · 20/02/2013 19:52

I might mind but I would be destraught to be in the tabloids in a bikini, but then I don't have a figure like Miranda Kerr. Wink

Then again, if I did have a figure like hers I'd probably wear a bikini to Tesco.

RobinSparkles · 20/02/2013 19:55

Actually, I don't think I would mind. If I did I'd just be mindful to keep them covered.

A toddler bottom is just a toddler bottom. I see them often in the babies changing area - when I'm changing my own DD, I hasten to add, I don't just go in for a look!

If it was a teenager though, I'd be fuming.

Nancy66 · 20/02/2013 20:03

They're not in a tabloid. They're on a website.

candr · 20/02/2013 20:12

Would rather see Orlando's naked bum (and bits Grin) but will allow my DS to be like that on a beach while he is little - doubt people will use telescopic lenses to take our pics though!

cocoachannel · 20/02/2013 20:15

Wouldn't mind at all. Be more upset if I was pictured in a bikini, don't exactly have MK's look going on!

thebody · 20/02/2013 20:17

Totally posed picture. Who cares? Just a naked toddler and bit as half cute as mine were but passable.

Sugarice · 20/02/2013 20:19

Ask yourself this, no child of a celeb is pictured unless the parent has sanctioned it.

Beckham pictures, for example, are always done under their control, you rarely see them without consent or unattended.

Pictures sell.

Piemother · 20/02/2013 20:20

MJ has a tiny, tiny speck of cellulite on the back of her thighs. It wax worth seeing - makes me feel better she is soooo perfect looking Grin

SisterMonicaJoan · 20/02/2013 20:38

I think they knew there was a high chance of being photographed and as someone else said upthread, they look a little posed.

Tbh, I'm just happy to see celebs who cover their child's shoulders up in the sun and he's keeping hydrated. It always makes me sad how female celebs have a hat on in the sun and don't put one on their child/ren. Alex Gerrard is the worst for not covering up her daughters. I've seen photos where their shoulders are red raw Sad
