To think that spectacles without lenses are utterly ridiculous. Or am I just too old and fuddy duddy to recognize a bit of fun?

We live opposite a university (which in Malaysia is not the same as the UK). In our flats there are a number of students.
This morning, four got in wearing those glasses that are just the frames, no lenses at all.
AIBU to think they look stupid?

Yep, it was the posers when I was there too. We used to laugh at them a lot.

I think it is on a par with wearing Hunter wellies with shorts to Bluewater on a hot day in July.

But not as bad as wearing a onesie out of the house or in fact inside the you if you're >10

I live in China and they are really popular here with 15-25 year old females. A friend gave me a pair for Christmas - I look stupid - but possibly younger and stupid ;)

I remember giggling at the plastic goths that used to roll into the local rock night, wearing brand new shiny leather jackets.

I quite like being a fuddy duddy too. I am now 46 and reserve the right to be a fuddy duddy if I so chose.

My goddaughter turned up in a pair of glasses without lenses at the weekend and I didn't even pretend to understand.

I like tutting to myself at stupidly short skirts in winter and muttering 'she'll get kidney trouble if she's not careful' to myself.

I like sounding like my lovely mum actually.
