To be pissed off when DH gets himself a drink

May sound petty but i find it so annoying when DH comes into the room with just a drink for himself and not both of us.

Especially after i always cook, he would get the shock of his life if i just cooked dinner for myself!

There you go - dinner for one tomorrow then? :)

BitBewildered · 13/02/2013 22:47

I would be bloody annoyed if my DH made a cup of tea and didn't offer me one. Surely it's just courtesy?

WorraLiberty · 13/02/2013 22:48

YANBU that's just rude

MrsTomHardy · 13/02/2013 22:49

Rude! I'd pick him up on it every time!

BluelightsAndSirens · 13/02/2013 22:50

Very rude and inconsiderate.

ilovesooty · 13/02/2013 22:51

Yes, it's rude. Have you pointed it out to him?

MammaTJ · 13/02/2013 22:51

Why don't you just say 'Where's mine?'?

HeadfirstForHalos · 13/02/2013 22:52

You could do him a reward chart. A star for each time he offers you a drink when he makes one, and he loses a star when he doesn't. If he gets enough stars he gets dinner Wink

When he's mastered that work on him making the dinner too Grin

brummiegirl1 · 13/02/2013 22:52

Yes i point it out, he just say's i didn't think you wanted one! I tell him, it would have been nice to be asked.

Acksherly.

I am afraid I beg to differ. I am watching my diet and wine intake and if DH brought me a glass of wine every time he had one, I would not have lost two stone Smile

I do realise this is a bit different from what you mean though OP and couldn't resist the opportunity for a stealth boast, oh no Grin

MammaTJ · 13/02/2013 22:59

Oh, Headfirst has a good plan!

brummiegirl1 · 13/02/2013 23:00

Sounds a good plan Headstart!

Very bad manners. Even if he knows the answer would be no, he should still ask. As would you, presumably. So rude!
