She has been married for almost 2 years.

I suppose its like everyone calling Princess Diana, Lady Di for about 20 years.

so we must assume that she's keeping her name.

and her normal name is Kate, even though her birth certificate name is Catherine.

Apologies if this has been said already, but we talk about Ann Boleyn, Catherine Parr, Catherine Howard, Elizabeth Woodville etc - all queen consorts rather than born royals. The Queen Mother I think was Elizabeth of Glamis. Like Diana she was an aristocrat and child of an Earl , rather than a commoner. Surely it makes sense to refer to Kate Middleton.

They are a tedious bunch of pantomime characters anyway....

I have a feeling that she did in fact complain about the media refering to her as Kate Middleton, but the newspaper who printed the fact didn't print how she would like to be named. I'm also pretty sure that she has always been Catherine rather than Kate, but maybe that helps her separate her own, private sense of self from most of the drivel that the media prints.
(Maybe I'm thinking about this too much, )

the link takes you to the official website, where she's referred to as the Duchess of Cambridge, but it doesn't say what she chooses to be called.

If you believe what the papers say then she's a stuck up cow who would like to be referred to as the Duchess of Cambridge at all times!

She is Catherine Cambridge. But it will take the tabloids about 20 years to catch up. Stop reading them. They are clearly winding you up.
