I cannot remember when my other DC rolled over. I am seeing more and more mums with same sort of age that DS3 saying that there child has rolled over. But DS3 hasnt yet. :/

Someone tell me im not over-reacting and itll come and its not unusual!

10 week olds don't roll generally.

havingastress · 13/02/2013 13:09

14 weeks here. No rolls yet!

M0naLisa · 13/02/2013 13:09

Thanks Donnadoon

I don't think any of mine did until about 8 months! They're all fine.

Wewereherefirst · 13/02/2013 13:10

Over reaction! Smile

He will do it in his own time, letting you know he has his own mind and character. There's no rules for babies

noblegiraffe · 13/02/2013 13:10

I think my DS could sit up before he was actually bothered enough to roll over.

MortifiedAdams · 13/02/2013 13:10

My DD hit six months and within the week was rolling, sitting unaided, and getting up on hands and knees, having previously done none of this.

Needless to say I was fretting like.mad that she was behind Grin . Feels silly now!

M0naLisa · 13/02/2013 13:11

Aww thanks :) Makes me feel better Grin

He's not even three months old! My daughter didn't roll until nine months but then started walking two weeks later. He'll do it in his own good time Smile

M0naLisa · 13/02/2013 13:12

:) thanks

My boy didn't consider rolling over until he started crawling, at 8 months.

ll31 · 13/02/2013 13:13

Son rolled at 4 months-don't worry, enjoy!

JeffFaFa · 13/02/2013 13:13

Ds 2 never rolled over at all but he crawled at 8 months and walked at 11, is 17 months now and running riot.

DeWe · 13/02/2013 13:16

Dd1 didn't roll over until she saw some point in it-that is so she could get from her back to her front to crawl. She was 9 months.

Dd2 rolled at 4 weeks, but she had an advantage in no hand one side so it was much easier to roll over.

Psammead · 13/02/2013 13:17

Mine was 4 months yesterday and has not rolled yet. Didn't occur to me to worry about it! So you shouldn't either Smile

redskyatnight · 13/02/2013 13:25

DD didn't roll over until 14 months. Mentioned it at her 1 year check and the health visitor didn't consider it a concern. So at 10 weeks, you really don't need to worry!

elliejjtiny · 13/02/2013 13:29

None of mine rolled over before 5 months. Don't panic (says the person who panics about everything Grin

HazelnutinCaramel · 13/02/2013 13:32

DS didn't roll until he learnt to crawl and therefore had an incentive. He was 11 months. He is now a perfectly normal and functioning 4 year old.

Cunninglinguist03 · 13/02/2013 13:43

DS didn't roll over until he was 5 months old.

Don't worry our babies will not grow up unable to walk/talk. Every baby is different, He will do it in his own time Smile.

Isandri · 13/02/2013 13:47

My 12 week old has no interest in rolling over. Im sure he'll get around to it eventually. He is very good at lying on his stomach and waving his arms and legs as he wobbles on his belly. Unfortunately I don't think that one counts :)

Mumsyblouse · 13/02/2013 13:57

I don't think rolling is a key developmental milestone- my dd1 never rolled and she's grown up walking and talking incessantly

neolara · 13/02/2013 13:57

I think normally it's about 5 or 6 months. Sometimes it can happen early as a kind of freak event. My dd1 rolled at 6 weeks as I was watching the Olympics - I was really, truly convinced I had a future gold medal winner on my hands. She didn't do it again till about 6 months. (My first parental dream. Crushed. Sob).
