... so that I can see who must be on their last warning by receiving a ban?

mwauaahhahaha!

As if I would. I must say, however, that I've seen one or two of the PO and GF lately whereas I hadn't before. It's a bit like getting a new car. Suddenly everybody's got the same but with better mods.

I've had tons of posts deleted and have never had a warning...

RattyRoland · 04/02/2013 13:33

Who got banned? And why? nosey

HelloCheeky · 04/02/2013 19:42

A belated thank you for explaining your post patiently boomerwang.

@PhilMcAverty

Noooo - I'd meant to PM the person making the comment, not HQ, but clicked report instead of message poster. So HQ got the PM not the person I'd meant to send it to. Now you have to select whether its spam or not, I never make that mistake.

Does that make sense now? Reading it back I'm not sure Grin

Aha! Yes, perfectly clear now. Sorry for misunderstanding ...

I happen to know someone who sorted of reported someone by accident. MNHQ sent an email, that mostly sniggered. It's very easy to do if you are retrieving your phone out from under the sofa ...apparently Blush

Shows what I know, I thought PO=post office and GF was Gina Ford .

Boomerwang · 04/02/2013 22:28

Helen I was being naughty saying that, I certainly don't intend to report people for that purpose.

I think you'd know if my reporting was of a malicious intent.

The atmosphere has gone a bit 'off' on AIBU/Chat at the moment (I don't bother with other forums).

Can I ask, how would you deal with a poster who doesn't post one specific PA, rather makes several posts with quite obvious undertones in them designed to get a rise?

I mean... obviously I can just ignore them myself, but I still think it needs to be addressed otherwise I'd find myself ignoring quite a few threads :(
