AIBU?

To think you don't need to check the temperature of the baby pool to take your 10 month old swimming

Surely at a public baths the water is warm enough for a crawling/walking baby

The is an nct group of about 7 families having a massive discussion about it and one of them has just asked if they can use their own thermometer to check the water, not trusting the displayed temperature

Pfb much?

Wear the babies out so that they sleep through the meal?!

Pissing myself laughing at that alone, never mind the temp thing! I would love to be a fly on the wall for that particular event :o

I think most pools are too cold for me nevermind ds who is 11 months.

The last time we went swimming he was blue and I kept having to go out to put him under the shower.

Then again, ds does like his baths hot...the thermometer goes mad!

I've only found one pool that is warm enough for him and me

He is my pfb Grin

I would have said YANBU but took my 4 year old to a swimming lesson recently and the boiler had broken and the kids pool was really cold. They hadnt bothered to tell anyone when they sold the swimming pool tickets though Hmm. Would not have been ok for a baby my robust 4 year old was just about ok but it wasnt great.

Oh for fucks sake!! Mine day in rock pools on a welsh beach!

Some people are just plain insane.. Mind you it is an NCT group so it will be the lunch menu nest and baby sushi!

Couldn't make it up.
