An item still has seven days left to run?? I just don't get it at all. Watching a premium brand pushchair at the moment and the bidding is already heading for what you would pay new. Or is there shill bidding going on?

Nothing wrong with using tactics, its just not on to try to force everyone to use your tactic if they feel it doesn't work for them.

I am an early bidder and happy with it. If there is competition for the item then it will make minimal difference to the final price

But if I put in a medium bid as soon as an item is listed, lots of people will then not bother following the item as it is already high, I tend to get the item for about third to half cheaper than if it becomes a full on bidding war.
