to go on holiday abroad with a 10 month old?

DS1 is currently 4 months old. We are thinking of booking a holiday and are really tempted to go abroad but I just don't know how feasible it would be with a 9/10 month old as he would be then. He's bottle fed so don't know what we would do about sterilising bottles? And can yopu take a pushchair on a plane/ferry?

Should we just abandon the idea and go on holiday in the UK (again)?

Many people do it, we've took ours away since they were a few months old but they were Bf which made it easier. Some people don't really travel well and get a bit stressed with change to routine, food etc. If you are like that, then best to stay at home for the time being.

We went to a wedding in Italy when ds was 8m and dd1 2y8m (pre dd2!)

He was breastfed but crawling in the dirt so sterilising would have been redundant.

Best memory is waiters in a wee local restaurant bringing him his own plate of deep-fried mini octopus after he ate all of dh's!! He scoffed the lot!!
