though they are letting me do a payment plan which is awesome.

Keys - absentminded mistake.
Smartphone - manufacturer or user error
Diet failure - down to you I'm afraid.

None of them in any way related to a piece of glass breaking.

No. HTH.

I broke a mirror during having bad luck. Still having bad luck now but nothing to do with the mirror, just life

Though I do salute magpies Grin

InNeedOfBrandy · 24/01/2013 16:34

I do magpies and strangely believe one for sorrow two for joy, don't believe in broken mirrors or walking under ladders.

My mum is fanatical about not picking up dropped knives. If I drop one she will push me out of the way to stop me picking it back up and if she drops one and no ones around it stays there till someone is around.

^this, 100%

HecateWhoopass · 24/01/2013 16:53

I bet if you think back to before you broke the mirror youd be able to come up with many examples of bad luck you've had.

Honestly, mirror has bog all to do with it.

phantomnamechanger · 24/01/2013 16:57

one memorable week, we needed 2 new tyres, the washin machine broke, the car insurance was due, and we had a holiday final balance to pay off. It was a crap week. There was no broken mirror anywhere.

these
things
happen

Isildur · 24/01/2013 16:58

Yes, when you broke the mirror, a trapped soul escaped and broke your phone, wiped your common sense/memory and locked you out.

The question is, what are you going to do about it?

If I were you, I'd repeat 'Candyman' three times and wait to be hideously murrrdered, because enduring seven years bad luck for breaking a mirror will become terribly tedious.

You might as well put an end to it with a bit of drama.

Or you could look on the bright side. You had insurance for the phone, and your locksmith wasn't a cowboy who'd copy your key to break in later Grin.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 24/01/2013 17:08

Haven't you got to take all the pieces and throw them over your shoulder into a fast flowing river in the middle of the night on a full moon. Or something like that. Cause over wise you have 2551 days of bad luck to go.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 24/01/2013 17:11

and your locksmith wasn't a cowboy who'd copy your key to break in later or maybe he was and he's waiting for you to say candyman 3 times...

mercury7 · 24/01/2013 17:19

wonderingsoul · 24/01/2013 17:24
