Happens to me all the time. Royal Mail are shit, do fuck all about complaints and it only happens again the next week. Why am I and every other person paying taxes for such an awful service?? I have heard the postmen on countless occasions not bother to knock at my door, rather they shove the sorry you were out card in and scamper off as fast as they can. Have caught one once and he didn't have any excuse for himself. What else can I fucking do? I'm pregnant and knackered and these cunty idiots don't consider it would take me a nice 45 mins to walk to the sorting office (no car and wrong directed bus route). Rant over.

YANBU, drives me crazy when I wait at home all day for something and come downstairs to find a bloody card in the hall

My dh retired last yr after almost twenty years as a postie, they are not paid from our taxes, royal mail are a buisness and they are paid out of profits.the new rounds are ridiculous, heavy or big parcels go with a driver.as for the ones that repeatedly do not knock and post cards thru you should report.ring the local sorting office and speak to management.my dh has been hauled into the office in his time for just swearing at a bad driver that's cut him up! But the majority are not lazy.my dh is now classed as disabled thanks to the job damaging his knees.its a thankless task, but keeps a roof over many families heads.

This normally doesn't happen. Make a complaint, and keep complaining until something happens.
