Without giving TMI last night me and DH were having some fun.. Dh is a lovely sweet gentle mannered bloke but halfway through clearly wanted to spice things up a bit ..much wine had been consumed etc.. But he starte talking dirty and it sounded so fake it was all I could do not to laugh out loud...it completely put me off and didn't have the desired effect... He was really pleased with himself and I don't have the heart to tell him it wasn't sexy but hilarious..advice please?!

OP you could say to him, preferably while he is turned on, ' you talked dirty the other night, would you like me to do the same? If so what sort of thing would you like me to say.' Take the discussion from there and take the opportunity to tell him what he can do that you will like, be it dress up a policeman,msuck your toes or whatever.

An ex talked dirty to me once, something along the lines of "...and all you can think is how good this feels". I was actually thinking "oh god, this is really embarrassing, shut up, you're putting me off!". I think he'd had a lot of success in the past with it (he was a bit of a player!), but it's not for me!

I think when done right it can be really sexy, however DH once whispered to me in the throes of passion 'you taste like...vimto' I laughed out loud.

I love a bit of dirty talk but my oh is a builder with a filthy mouth. My ex was privately educated and spoke very nicely but dirty talk with him used to make my toes curl. And not in a good way.
