To think Sex & the City films ruined the series?

Probably done before, but I'm in bed ill and just watched the 2nd film again.

Now I loved S&TC the series, it was fantastic. Great characters, great writing and storylines. It ended on a complete high where the ratings for the show hadn't declined and they could have easily churned out a couple more series.

Then I watched the first film .... and thought yeah that's ok.

Then I watched the second film ... and thought what the actual hell is this crap?!

But I'm being unreasonable because I know for a fact if a third film was ever made I'd still go to the cinema to see it

I'm amazed that the third Bridget Jones film will have her split up from mark - nooooo! Rubbish!

i don't think the third Bridget Jones film will ever happen - they've been talking about it for about five years now

The second Bridget Jones film was awful; way OTT and had none of the charm of the first one.

Loved the series but dear Lord the films were tragic! Especially as Samantha went through menopause TWICE! ffs!

I had to laugh at Charlotte in the 2nd film. She had a rich husband, had given up work, had a nanny and a housekeeper and she was still totally stressed looking after her two daughters and couldn't cope.

I know atthewelles! Her daughter put a mucky hand on her beautiful dress and it sent her over the edge - sobbing in the larder indeed!
