Has anyone ever taken revenge on someone

so my dh best mate was out with him on weds night and has confessed to taking revenge on his ex. She cheated on him with another of ou friends - so it was very nasty and messy! So he told dh that he has been 'revenging' her and has done stuff like put her nam down at an STD clinic and has put dog poo in her car air con. I am shocked tbh, dh also tried to talk some sense into him. I once revenged a friend at school and put an egg in her rucksack - hardly the crime of the century but has anyone else ever 'revenged' anyone.....

I'll try that again...stoopid fat fingers.

I had a drunken snog with a guy in sixth form. That's all it was but he told people that we'd shagged and that rumour spread like wildfire. It git back to me of course and he denied ever saying it but I had proof that he did. He apparently fancied me (the feeling wasn't mutual) and thought this would be a good way of getting me to go out with him Hmm

Anyway, he continued to protest his innocence and asked me to go to the end of year 'prom' with him. I played along in believing his innocence and agreed. He paid for my ticket, flowers, limo etc.etc. and I smiled sweetly and let him get on with it.

On the night of the prom I managed to hold my tongue until after the main course at which point I told him publicly that I knew it was him who started the rumour, called him a few choice names and that he was the last person in the room I'd shag. Then I left with one of the rugby team taking the bottle of champagne he'd bought for us and nabbed the taxi he'd booked to take us to the after party

Probably not big or clever but made me feel better :)

BattlingFanjos · 11/01/2013 23:46

Play it down all you like, it's now burnt into my memory as a scene worthy of a brat pack movie! Grin it sounds worth it and even better that it wasn't instigated by you, he played right into your hands.

I have the steamed piss smell in my nostrils too! Sad

Oooh TeaCup some of my best hours have been spent plotting revenge on people even though I know I won't do it Grin

pingu2209 · 11/01/2013 23:55

Nope.

But I heard a very funny anacdote on a Graham Norton show. A man was dumped by his girlfriend in a rather nasty way (which I can't remember). The ex girlfriend had a small dog who she doted on and mothered. She would feed the dog treats and doggy chocolate.

The man went to her house whilst she was out and fed the dog exlax through the letter box. He fed the dog a lot of exlax.

Apparently mutual friends told him later of his ex girlfriend's horror upon returning home from work!

Okay - maybe you had to be there, but I thought I was going to be sick when he told his story on the show.

It is the best revenge story I have ever heard.

marriedinwhite · 11/01/2013 23:55

Not with partner but a few a'holes at work have received a dish called revenge - best served cold. Like when a director bad mouthed me to the ceo and when the opportunity arose I had a an e-mail to provide that proved both incompetence and dishonesty. And I'm really not sure if this is relevant but if you think it might be then I think you should have it. If he hadn't told lies and hadn't tried to cover up his own incompetence by lying about me quite undeservedly to save his own skin I wouldn't have been able to provide it. Total shitbag and he deserved it. He was dismissed a few weeks later and he should have been dismissed a year earlier and it would have saved the public purse 70k. Angry

WeeWeeWeeAllTheWayHome · 11/01/2013 23:59

I read on the t'internet once that the best form of revenge someone had come across was when a woman emptied tubs of glitter into her ex's cupboards and drawers. Apparently tis the internet remember, despite countless washes, he was still trailing glitter behind him 5 years later.

I'm don't really condone revenge which destroys property, causes harm etc but this for some reason really tickled me.

pingu2209 · 12/01/2013 00:01

WeeWeeWee I like that story. That is fab. I wouldn't mind doing that to my dd's clothes. She would drop glitter everywhere like a fairy. She would LOVE it.

GregBishopsBottomBitch · 12/01/2013 00:09

i remember seeing a show about revenge, how a woman made dinner for her cheating ex, she made dogshit pie and she watched him eat it. mmmmmm yummy.

GregBishopsBottomBitch · 12/01/2013 00:11

Wee That is hilarious, people would know when hes been around, "Oh glitter boys been around"

HoHoHoNoYouDont · 12/01/2013 00:17

I was a bit of a psycho in my youth and took revenge on a couple of people. I look back now and can't believe some of the things I did! Still makes me chuckle a bit thinking about it. Things that tipped me over the edge back then don't phase me these days. I am so much calmer.

Jellykat · 12/01/2013 00:20

I'm afraid i have in my youth. After i found out a good friend had been shagging my boyfriend, a mechanic friend of mine and i poured brake fluid over her car.. it stripped the paintwork by the next morning Blush
and yes i dumped him.

These days i prefer to believe 'what goes around comes around'.

Greythorne · 12/01/2013 00:23

When I was a teenager and got horribly dumped by a two-timing liar, I fantasised endlessly about going round to his patents' house, where he lived, sweet-talking his mum into letting me into his room on the pretext of having left a pair of earrings there and then taking revenge. My idea was to take every single one of his cherished reggae and dub LPs and 12" vinyl records and scratch each one very deliberately with a very sharp pin or screwdriver. So that the records would look ok to a casual observer, but every single one would jump and crackle unbearably.

I never did it but I used to think about it all the time Blush

I am glad I didn't now because I suspect it would be criminal damages and that the police would take it quite seriously!

OTTMummA · 12/01/2013 00:58

I did a few times in my youth, when house shared a new girl moved in and tried to slowly put me down, making negative comments about my apperance, or back handed compliments, like ' no wonder your so BIG ( i was 5ft7 and 9st Hmm), you make such lovely cakes' etc.

Well one christmas it was just her and me in the house and i offered to cook her xmas dinner, thought that i could get to know her better, try and make nice,, but for the whole meal she just moaned about what i had made and even sicked up food onto her plate and accused me of poisoning her Shock

I ate all mine Grin and afterwards kept saying how i had put so much weight on and started making pig noises when i entered a room or was eating, told my bed would break soon because i was sooooo FAT!
By the 28th i had enough and took my screwdriver into her room and unscrewed her bed just enough to keep it up, but as soon as she came back and went up to her room i just heard it go Grin

FlyingFig · 12/01/2013 01:06

Lots of times. Each time, thoroughly deserved IMO

Don't think I'd dare do it now though. I'm older and wizened, so more likely to forget to wear gloves etc.

Wink
soontobeburns · 12/01/2013 03:33

When I was younger one of my good friends broke my day old mobile (stuck a pencil through the camera) and I was so pissed off and upset I texted his mum all his dirty secrets such a smoking, sexual activies etc. He was only 13!

We have recently added each other on fb and apologised to each other though we arent close again.

MumofWombat · 12/01/2013 04:06

Whilst at a University Ball our house got broken into. Our bank cards were used at the local petrol station repeatedly during the night. The suspect was connected to the taxi firm that picked up a household of people to take them to a ball....
The taxi firm got sent on MANY fake call outs for about the next year.....

ConfusedPixie · 12/01/2013 08:49
