Currently Tinkerbell will not stop tinkling and if bloody Woody tells me I'm his "fav'rit deputy" one more time, I won't be responsible for my actions. Sensors are not suitable replacements for off switches! The blinking fiddly little battery covers require smaller screwdrivers than I currently can find and I am shoving the noisy toys to the bottom of the laundry basket forever the time being.

Furry can go furb himself as well!

These non switch-off-able toys were clearly manufactured in Satan's toy shop.Angry

We got a woody last year. It randomly goes off all the time including 3am.

The glee microphone that my dd got is drivin me insane, especially when ds2 (2 yrs ) gets hold of it.
Also very irritating is some stupid fish thing has a chipmunk voice and swims round it's bowl, it does have an off switch but this only leads too mired of the damn fish snoring as it 'goes to sleep' !!!

Step mil got ds a teething ring that parts twinkle twinkle when a very sensitive button is pressed. The batteries cannot be taken out, its a single unit. Wibu to send the blasted thing for a swim? And is it clear evidence that she really does hate us?

Not even my child's, I have been forever scarred by Christmas that my brothe received one.

VerySmallSqueak · 01/01/2013 23:01

Oh fuck Liege.

Not even I would sink to a kazoo.

bigmouthstrikesagain · 01/01/2013 23:22

DD1 was given a harmonica years ago, I managed to hide it pretty quick

Both of them had kazoos a couple of years ago, fortunately neither of them got how you played it and I was in no hurry to enlighten them

We had a ride-on that had no off switch; it was movement activated. Somehow it got left out in the rain. It dried out and suddenly sprang into life at 3 a.m. DH was. straight down the stairs with the rod that opens the loft hatch. And neither of us slept the rest of the night.

You will note that I write in the past tense.
