To frickin love Paloma Faith?

I hate slebs as a rule, but she is v talented and just plain nice.

I find her a bit fake to be honest. It all seems a bit put on.

That's the thing. I find her very UNfake. I don't think she could pretend to be the way she is. She is very unique!

I agree with JustAHolyFool, she does come across as a bit fake and try hard to me too, like she is desperate to be seen as kooky. Lady Gaga annoys me for the same reason, it's just a gimmick.

I love her too, she always looks great and is always interesting when being interviewed.

DP did some music work for a charity, it took them ages to pay everybody, to the point where he kept asking if maybe he should have done it for free. No way, why should he? None of the people working there were were working for free and it was a days work like any other.

Anyway, I digress, she's lovely.

DH is a singer (not famous, but very good at what he does), he has two charities that he will each do two gigs for a year, the rest he gets paid for. He also regularly contributes to chosen charities, but he wouldn't tell anyone that, cos it's none of their business. I wonder if the other charities that approach him to do parties and balls for them think he's tight and money grabbing?

I have mixed feelings about her. I don't think she's fake, I think she is geuinely a bit odd and kooky which I like, and she seems lovely in interviews. With her image I really expected to like her music but I finding a bit meh, its very middle of the road. If the music lived up to the image I would really love her as she's so different to the usual pop star.

I love Lady Gaga though. I think she acknowledges the whole thing is fake and a bit silly so it doesn't grate in the same way.

She has got a stunningly beautiful voice, but she's a bit too weird for me. She also says she's 27 when she's 31 .
