having just opened a box of celebrations and discovered that they contain Twixs.

Twix's ffs, they aren't chocolates, they are biscuits.

And to add insult to injury, there were only two maltesers. Two in the whole fecking box.

So having had about two sweets each, I'm left (yet again) with a pile of bounty's, snickers and milky fucking ways

I am going to have to raid the New Year's Eve selection boxes at this rate.

Crazy, this year I was given four tins of sweets. One of Roses, which we ate early. The rest were celebrations .

I shouldn't really complain, they were gifts. But this was the last straw.

I have just remembered my brother gave me a box of Butlers handmade chocolates on Christmas day.

I hid them (naturally).

I can't get them out now because the kids are here. But tomorrow afternoon I will be on my own with them.

There won't be any biscuit, or any coconut in that box I can tell you. Yippee

When I was about 20, an admirer gave me a thwacking great box of Charbonnel et Walker chocolates.

I thought them disgusting and would have much preferred a big bar of Galaxy

Viv- I like coffee creams too! Had to battle with my mum when I was younger over them.
Malteezers are by far the best in celebrations but I do like Twix too.

Think I will have to buy some chocs tomorrow as the dcs are being quite mean and not sharing their chocolate santas or giant tobleroles, making me resort to stealing the freddos.

Far too many caramels in the box of Heros, or Celebration or whichever they were, that I had the other week. Very disappointing.

They are sweets according to the school when I put one in the DC lunchbox.
They can't have chocolate in summer (fair enough it melts) but I put a single finger Twix in and was told they are sweets not biscuits.

I bloody well HATE Galaxy, the Truffle even more so, and the Caramel the most. Way too sweet and sickly. I am therefore ecstatic that they have killed off the grotty Truffle and hoping that they do away with the rest of the work of the devil disgusting shit that is Galaxy next year.

Although obvs I will force it down if it's the only chocolate available on lady week

Bugger, bought some Heroes to give to our new neighbours. Are they really that bad? As in will the rest of the street talk about me? Really don't want to part with any of our chocolate giftsas a replacement. Crap.

I felt rage earlier...we got a tin of heroes and despite DD & DH being lovers of fudges and creme egg minis...they have eaten all the others and left the fudges and creme egg ones...I hate them both the evil chocolates not DD&DH even though they are both also evil for eating all the caramels and chocolate eclairs so I couldn't eat any bastards!

I opened a box of liquorice all sorts tonight and found not one of the pink or blue bobbly ones. Not one. Tis a disgrace I tell ya.

I boycotted celebrations this year because if the abomination that is twix.

Quality street is all caramel and toffee. Bleugh.

I just came across a Wine Gum in my box of Jelly Babies.

I like Wine Gums, but I was expecting a lovely wee chubby guy dusted in icing sugar, so I spat it out! It was a nasty shock.

The makers of celebrations are on my hit list after doing away with the truffle.

We use those fun party bag things in a big bowl under the tree. Many little packets of Maltesers and no Bounty bars. Plus crunchies and chocolate buttons and no milky ways.
Yes, the portions are a little bigger than usual, but somehow we cope.
