I think it's so bad it's absolutely brilliant. I can't get my head around how it exists, surely everyone involved could see how terrible it was in production. Brad Pitt doesn't need the money, Chanel No.5 are far too famous for bad publicity to have any brand-awareness raising benefits, so can't see how this can benefit them at all, and Joe Wright is an Oscar nominated director taking a job here that involves literally just directing a camera at a person and maybe holding up the fortune cookies for BP to read (and his big trademark is roving tracking shots!)
Whenever anyone starts flicking on our TV I go "The stations turn and we turn with them" which usually leads with perfect timing to: "Channel 5...inevitable." as it scrolls by. If this makes me as annoying as the ad then I am honoured to be in its company.
