I got him about 6 bits that he wanted... but they were surprises.

He got me 1 DVD that I handed him in Asda. He didn't even wrap it up. Its onto of the wardrobe still.

I have about 4 times the cost of the tablet in the bank so it wouldn't drain us but we aren't money bags

But I feel a bit selfish spending on myself after Christmas and we agreed we would save on the new year for a car?!

I really want one but have a Samsung s3 phone....

DH has a laptop but I've already nearly broke it twice and would like something of my own.

But Mayne I'm just being greedy?

My sister brought her tablet round and it was gorgeous!!

i'm one click away from buying one - bored of laptop hard to use one handed, always breastfeeding - laptop huge, old and heavy.

My dh doesn't do presents so last year I bought myself an i-pad 2. It's the best thing I ever bought!

I bought myself a Nexus 7 with birthday money (couldn't think at the time what to ask my husband and parents to buy me so asked for money and more time to think). It's my new best friend. In fact it may need to be surgically detached from me at some point...... BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT!!!!!

I took delivery of my lovely new samsung tab 2 today and am typing on it now

We have been looking at the samsung note but couldnt afford it,(we are skint) I got £50 from my mum and a voucher code for £30 off at very plus the £50 samsung cashback meant it cost me £69.

DP got some money for christmas and has brought himself a Gemini JOYtab £79 which seems to be a good budget tablet.

We both feel a bit guilty because money is tight but decided christmas gift money should be spent on something fun that we couldnt usually afford.

So I say go for it

You lot convinced me to finally buy a Nexus 7! It's in my bag and I can't wait to get home and play with it!

I've just ordered myself an Ipad mini - got to wait till almost the end of Jan for it to arrive but I can't wait :) Wanted an ipad for ages and this littler one seems just lovely - have spent hours playing with them in the Apple Store!

YABU unless you buy me one too.

My Nexus 7 is charged up at last - I have to say I love it! And any guilt about spending the money on myself is long gone.

I bought DH one for Christmas - the same one you just ordered. He hates it. I hate it. It's going on ebay tomorrow! I may be missing something but to me it seems just like a big old phone! Nope - me no likey!

I have nexus 7 and love it so much.... DS (aged 6) and little DS (age 2) love it as much as me which is a slight problem.... They both want their own for birthdays!
