I slept for four hours after my night shift last night! It is hardly a nap. But why did it matter to you that he was asleep? Did you have plans? Yabu to dictate someone else's sleep without any plans.

Dh slept for 4 hours. I had to wake him! But everything was done, the kids were busy with their new stuff and I watched the soaps in peace, plus he is very tired from working extra hours so I don't mind.

He was a bit Xmas Hmm when he realised how long he had slept though.

We both had about 20minutes while baby swapping. 4 hours is more sleep than I have had in 1 stretch for 7 months! It's a bit antisocial so yanbu but if he doesn't wake naturally how would he know he'd had too long iyswim?

Over 2 hours is not a nap. 4 hours is going to bed early then bizarrely getting up again!

I think I fell asleep for about 2.5 hrs 2ds were playing nicely and dd was asleep also. DP, bless him, sorted dinner and woke me only because dd (4 days) needed feeding. I was dead to the world.

Smeggnog · 26/12/2012 01:04

4 hours was my entire quota of sleep last night. And it looks like it will be the same again - 3 week old DD2 likes to party at night Xmas Sad

But I did get 2 hours earlier today. So not all bad.

4 hours is a lot. I would be Xmas Angry

I had an hour before dinner as I felt the beginnings of a migraine and I was hoping a nap would help. It was only me and DP here, he came upstairs to make sure I was OK and we both feell asleep... Felt better when I woke up, and dinner was late but much improved by having a mere headache instead of a fullblown migraine.
