Roses..There are far too many toffees Quality Street.

CremeEggThief · 25/12/2012 12:43

Roses. Definitely!

LottieJenkins · 25/12/2012 13:27

I am going to be different and say Heroes, because I can eat all of them and no nuts in anyone of them!!Xmas Grin

comedycentral · 25/12/2012 13:31

Roses... Quality Street are made by big bad Nestle

Salbertina · 25/12/2012 13:48

Sorry, neither by choice! Too sweet for me

lizzypuffs · 25/12/2012 14:09

Roses. Defo - especially the purple ones.

ByTheSea · 25/12/2012 14:32

a combination which would eliminate all the soft and fruity one's. Xmas Grin

ByTheSea · 25/12/2012 14:32

ones ( I hate predictive text)

sparklytinselandthings · 25/12/2012 14:38

It has to be Quality Street. Well, they're the ones that have the big purple triangles, the toffee pennies and the strawberry and orange creams, aren't they?!
Yum, yum YUM...

sparklytinselandthings · 25/12/2012 14:39

Big purple triangles?! Confused What I meant was big purple caramelly nut thingies. Slurp.

Lope · 25/12/2012 21:04

Roses. Quality Street are so ITV dahhhling. (Well, that's what our family always thought!!). As if Roses are the height of sophistication. Xmas Smile

LouisWalshsChristmasCloset · 25/12/2012 21:24

celebrations woman!

Flossiechops · 25/12/2012 21:29

Roses without a doubt but the mean bastards at Cadburys only put 3, yes 3 hazelnut swirls in my tin that I opened today. Not happy Confused

ISawSantaKissingThePortlyPinUp · 25/12/2012 21:32

Quality Street of course, unfortunately I only have their poor relation Celebrations as we won a tub and I was too skint to buy another tin of sweets.

Snowkey · 25/12/2012 21:42

Both are pretty bad.

Anja1LikesChristmas · 25/12/2012 22:52

I'm also in the neither camp! None in this house. But homemade truffles Xmas Grin don't last long...

Lollydaydream · 25/12/2012 23:17

Can I do an exchange with bythesea? I like fruity and soft ones; hard coffees make me fear for my teeth and while I have made large , happy inroads into the Roses I'm pining for a green triangle.
In fact my ideal would be a tin of green triangles.

Lollydaydream · 25/12/2012 23:19

toffees, not coffees
but come to think of it what happened to the coffee creams, my childhood introduction to a love of coffee....

propertyNIGHTmareBEFOREXMAS · 25/12/2012 23:29

Roses every possible time. Not taken with the QS choc.

GsyPotatoMincePieEyed · 25/12/2012 23:59

Used to be Roses, but what have they done to the Brazilian Darkness this year. It used to be lovely hard chewy nutty toffee smothered in thick dark chocolate. Now it is SOFT, SOFT I tell you. Christmas will never be the same again. Xmas Sad.

DaisyBuchannan · 26/12/2012 00:23

Haha Lope, similar nonU leanings here at chez Daisy

boomting · 26/12/2012 00:28

Roses all the way. Quality Street are 'orrible - I always want to ask what quality they're meant to be!

FrozenNorthPole · 26/12/2012 00:55

Roses - boycotting Nestle so no Quality Street for us since 2007.

whois · 26/12/2012 01:56

Either.
Both.
All.

TenPercenter · 26/12/2012 04:10

I would say QS, but then again I do enjoy a good toffee. The last time we had roses, they were dull and had changed beyond all recognition.

We don't have tins this year, they seem poor value and a mighty rip off, you get hardly any sweets in them these days. I would rather that they were more expensive and you got a lot in them, than now, where you pay £4 and get about 20 sweets.
