Santa is usually a bit sick of mince pies by the time he reaches our house - he prefers a chocolate cornflake cake and a snowball!
Rudolf nearly had to have a potato because I had already peeled all the carrots!

LadyBeagleBaublesandBells · 24/12/2012 19:42

When ds was little it was a shot of malt whisky, a mince pie and a carrot for Rudolph.
I always used to leave a half carrot nibbled a bit at the edges when I filled the stocking.
Judging by this thread,Santa must be seriously pissed by the end of the night.

he's getting mince pies here, as I finally made some today, and they are fabulous! but he's having sloe gin with them, as DH feels that last year's batch 'needs drinking'

complexnumber · 24/12/2012 19:52

all of the above please! Xmas Grin

Uppermid · 24/12/2012 19:53

I was mrs Claus the other day at a work family party (not my work) and dh was Santa. I asked pretty much all the children to leave a piece of chocolate out for me as Santa gets all the mince pies and doesn't bring any home for me! I promised to shared it with the elves and they all said they would!

Rowgtfc72 · 24/12/2012 20:26

Mince pie and Southern Comfort for Santa. Carrot and milk for the reindeer.

Smellslikecatspee · 24/12/2012 21:38

Brandy, mince pie (Ma's mince pies are worth coming from the North Pole for) and a carrot.

As neither parents drink I have always wondered what they did with the brandy???

EndoplasmicReticulum · 24/12/2012 21:51

We don't have any carrots, Rudolph has got a stick of celery instead (which the guinea pigs may help him with). F.C. has whisky and a mince pie.

Ahhhhhh lovely! Thanks for the moral support. Kids in bed, gin downed. Next year I reckon I'm going to say Santa insists on a Cosmopolitan cocktail.... in fact I've had enough alcohol to contemplate starting my own website along the lines of the one that tracks where Santa is delivering presents... Santa's alcohol trail.... "Look mummy! He's downing Mojitos now! Onto Avocat land next!"

Merry Crimble everyone x x x x

Mince pie and a generous slug of single malt as poured by DS, currently being drunk by DH. I rather like the alcohol trail idea though Xmas Grin

Roaring with laughter at the Santa's pub/house crawl site!
