Right, getting together a basket of everything I will need on Xmas morning

Scissors
Wire cutters
Various screwdrivers
Batteries in as many shapes and sizes as I can find
Bin bag
Recycling bags
Camera
Notebook and pen to write down who gave what
Wine in the fridge!

Anyone think of anything else?

I don't think our dining table will be cleared for christmas dinner.
It's not really a dining table, it's "dump everything here one day we'll sort it out" table.

Post it note reminder to chill wine and champagne and defrost frozen deserts

Spend an extra five mins in the loo every hour with the door locked!

I feel ashamed I have no survival kit :(

Dive in and deal with the consequences is the Bonkey househols motto!

I've just opened the survival kit now to open the wine, DS is being a handful. No excuse for over the top excitement either as he knows now that there is no Father Christmas :( Just plain, ordinary excitement here.

VerityClinch · 24/12/2012 18:14

I have opened all toy packaging, inserted batteries, assembled Things In Bits, removed cable ties, filed instruction manuals, disposed of surplus pointless packaging and plastic bags (DD3 and DS2) and re-wrapped.

I am the bastarding QUEEN OF CHRISTMAS this year.

You may salute me.

processco to start, followed by champagne for lunch, finished by cava for present opening. Can you sense a theme???
