' to whomever is responsible for the frankly gigantic turds that are blocking the toilet daily .

FLUSH THE BLOODY LOO! AND DO NOT LEAVE THE ROOM UNTIL IT IS GONE !

I am not a toilet attendant . Please poo responsibly .

Regards ,

Plomino. '

I have 4 DS's between the age of 6 and 17, a DD of 7 , and a DH who is old enough to know better . I am sick of being up to my Marigolds in other people's crap . It now remains to be seen whether it proves to be effective .

3littlefrogs , thanks! Will try . I don't know if there's an actual problem with the loo , or just the culprit that can't be arsed . Am currently trying to save up to have the whole lot redone , as its the only part of the house that hasn't been rebuilt / replaced / rewired due to the idiot that did the fittings , so maybe the problem might cease. Only thing I can think other than that is maybe waste pipe outside is blocked somehow .

Ds1 has mentioned the note . Don't believe he's the suspect, he's hardly been here all week due to work . Will be casually examining the others' faces for guilty smirks though .

I have a notice saying 'If there is a log, you must flush the bog'.

Even dd2 (4) can read & understand that. Dh, not so much.

It won't help - but taking the note down again will remove the paint from your wall been there, done that.

Oh dear! DS went through a stage a good few years back of never flushing the loo and we found out that he'd been told at school that it was a waste of water to flush every time. Shame they didn't differentiate between poos and wees though! A wee left overnight is very different to a great big poo left marinating for 8 hours Xmas Shock I dread to think what state the school toilets were in!

We used to have a phantom elephant pooer in the ladies loos at work. They were enormous and would never flush! The maintenance bloke used to have a special 'poo stick' (although I hope it was a new one every time) to erm deal with them so they would flush away. We never found out who it was.

Thee are 4 boys in my house and our toilets have never been blocked- I'd get it checked!

My DSS1 regularly blocks the loo. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the loo - but the combination of his voluminous production and the massive quantities of loo roll he uses, plus failure to flush properly, blocks the loo.

I have had strong words with him and with DP. It seems to be happening less often.

This was on our toilet wall when I was growing up...I think mum might have made it up

If you pee and miss the bowl
Then use some paper from the bowl

If you crap and leave it there
I have advice for you my dear

I've done my time of wiping crap
when you were wee and in a nap

Flush it, flush it, once again
until the turd has gone my friend

If I come in and its still there
The wrath of mum you'll have to bear

I can tell the difference between my DCs poos. DD does formed but girly sized ones. DS although he is 6 has never done a solid poo in his life. I would not recognise my DPs poos if you rubbed my nose in them as he is housetrained enough to flush every time.

Van I draw your attention to mintyys posts...if your toilet is regularly blocked, then there is something wrong with your system

And 'boy poo' is no more likely to block the toilet than 'girl poo' Hmm

Similarly, boys are as capable of flushing as girls

whoops paper from the roll...and I do agree on getting toilet checked
