To think they should have sold them to me?

I was shopping in Next today and spotted the baby grows on the shelf were half price to £8.00. However when I took them to the till to pay I was told that they weren't supposed to be on the shelves and I couldn't purchase them until Boxing Day. So am I being unreasonable to think as they were out on the shop floor they should have sold them to me?

I thought everyone knew that stores dont have to sell you an item if it is wrongly priced. If it is spotted at the checkout before you have paid they can refuse to sell it. However if you have already paid they cant call you back and make you pay the correct price.

Another reason to not shop at Next...

Genuinely accidentally! He was new and got flummoxed on a big sale so didn't put it through correctly. Obviously the customer did not point out the error and walked away with a nice little bargain. I couldn't do that to someone, the lad is lucky he still has his job.
