After 20 years, family still can't get my name right?

So been married twenty years, and christmas cheques to teenage nieces and nephews are flying around, as they do, at this time of year.

I never changed by name at marriage and have a joint account with dh.

On numerous occasions family members have got my name wrong, and ive laughed it off, and yet again another two cheques turn up from my brothers addressed to the ficticious person with my first and h's last name.
These are unusable.I have told them that, sothey can keep their records straight, and that its the thought that counts, but really what message are they sending me?
I think I can guess, but I feel mean for thinking it.

I have been married to DH (my second H) for 18 years. Only recently has my SiL stopped addressing envelopes to me using my first name and no surname. Apparently this because I have been married before so she didn't know which name to use.

I resisted the temptation to tell her that of the three surnames I have had in my life, the one that belonged to someone I was married to for five minutes years ago, probably isn't the one I'm using in my day to day life now. Hmm

My dad still spells my surname wrong even though dh and I have been married for 16 years and together for 5 years before that. The thing is, he has known dh a lot longer than I have Hmm.
He's only just started spelling my 12 yo son's first name correctly so there's no hope really.

We get this loads. Banks will cash them if you take in marriage certificate.
