To not want to hear neighbours' domestics?

Grrr...have got DSS staying with us and an ill DH who went to bed early - every time he wakes up he starts coughing again and takes ages to get back to sleep. Actually feel quite sorry for him :(

Anyway, neighbours have decided tonight's the night they want to drink loads and then stand in the street yelling at the top of their voices at each other, accusing each other of cheating, throwing things at each other etc. Am really shocked as we live in quite a quiet area, these neighbours are quite new though so haven't actually met them yet.

One of the other neighbours went out and asked them to either quieter down or go back into their house to continue the "discussion" but they refused as the woman wanted the whole street to know exactly what she thought of her partner/husband. So now DH is awake as he'd had the window open to try and get some fresh air and his coughing has woken up DSS who is NOT a happy bunny about having his sleep disturbed. AIBU to be really narked at these attention-seekers? The man has just run off down the street and someone else has come to be with the woman so I'm guessing we're in for a long night... :(

It's only 9pm, they probably won't be out there all night

Ring the non-emergency number on the police if they're really loud and rowing.

YANBU. Bloody ridiculous whatever time of day!

If they are in the street assaulting each other and verbally abusing each other then call the police.

I hope they won't be out there for much longer...I know it's only 9 but there's a LOT of families with under 5s in the surrounding houses - they will be finding it really disruptive. Will call police if it continues...if the man returns.
