I always imagine penguins to be like evil geniuses plotting our demise but pretend to look silly and cute waddling along so we are all fooled.. Polar bears are scary! Plus they eat seals and seals are SO cute. I take penguins. Pingu's dad ironing.

What impressed me about the polar bear I met, besides the height, the class and the teeth, was the fur! They always look like they ought to be soft and cuddly. Like a samoyed dog! The fur isn't really soft at all. It's quite coarse. More like a border terrier! And definitely transparent!

Probably not a good idea to try to cuddle a penguin either. FIL once tried to pat one at Birdland and it gave him a sharp peck.
