To wish bad things upon the frantic Christmas shoppers

Who ran into me with their trolleys, elbowed me out of the way, trod on my toes and left their bloody trolley behind my car because they couldn't' be arsed to push it a few metres to the trolley dump?

Whatever happened to the season of goodwill?

I was in Sainburys, Iceland and Home Bargains earlier, i was getting totally pissed off with the people hogging the isles so you couldnt get past.

FWIW, people often end up leaving it to the last minute because payday is often towards the end of the month, right? So it's not a surprise.

I love the daftness of getting up in arms that 'people' dare be so disorganized as to be shopping this late on ... while you wanted to be shopping!

I do hate people who're rude, though, and that does sound horrible.

Last minute??? It's not even the24th yet ffs!

LRD it's not the last minute shopping, I'm far from organised myself and it used to be fun, it's the rudeness and general bad will that follows it. Although the general excess of the whole thing is irritating too.

I'm now feeling smug that my groceries for Christmas are being delivered on Saturday.

Sorry, caramel, it wasn't so much your OP as subsequent comments. I agree with you on the rudeness. But the poster who commented that people need better organizational skills is being a bit unthinking.
