to climb on mummy?

Mummy is not feeling well and is lying on the sofa.

I want to climb on the sofa too and jump on mummy, so I can play with mummy's glasses and poke mummy in the eyes and see if I can fit my entire hand in her mouth, or at least pretend that mummy's tummy is a trampoline, but mummy doesn't want to play.

Mummy said why don't I play with all the other toys in the room because she's not feeling very well, but they're not as much fun as this. AIBU?

maybe darling child knows mummy is not feeling well, feels anxious and wants to make sure you are ok and perhaps does not have the vocab to do so?

Yanbu, your Mummy is a bouncy castle it's in the contract, it's what she signed up for.

but mummy is fine to post on mumsnet instead of paying baby attention. Funny that!

God I hate these posts from the point of view of a child.

Sorry that's probably harsh.

It was a good idea to take off her glasses before you poked her in the eyes.

Do you have a TV in your house? If you put a cushion on the floor you could pretend to be a dog sitting on a cushion watching tv.

When the big hand and the little hand are on the 12 eat some biscuits.

Have you tried inserting your finger all the way up mummy's nose?

Or pointing out spots and/or blemishes on mummy's face?

Or taking of your nappy, and saying "oops"

I find that normaly helps in removing mummy from the sofa, even if she's feeing horribly ill...
