To expect her to phone back?

Saw my perfect job advertised and decided to ring up the recruitment agency to ask if it was still available.

Turns out it was. The woman who's dealing with the job wasn't at her desk so they took my details and said they would call back. This was on Thursday and heard nothing since.

I ring up again today and speak to the woman, she said to send her my cv and she would go over and call me back and talk about the position with me. That was at 1:00 and I've heard nothing since.

I know I'm impatient but ... this is the womans job. I feel more impatient by the fact that I don't think she had any intention of ringing me back the first time I rang.

This is THE most perfect for me, and I have the qualifications for it.

aibu to have expected her to ring back by now?

it doesn't speak volumes for their organisational skills.
Is there any other way you could apply?

I am are recruitment bod and tbh if you are the perfect candidate then (if it were me) I would be hounding you Grin so either you're not as good as you think, she is terrible at her job or the vacancy has gone 'cold' or she has a million good candidates already. But as you are the kind of candidate who is following up then if I were her I would call you even if it's to say no
