I physically can't until then due to finances. Ds is only getting 150 spent in him In total too, I feel so bah humbug this year!

£150 is a lot? Really? I know a few who spend in excess of £500 per child as well and to me that is a lot. £150-£250 is about average imo.. Especially the older DC get, they want items that can cost £150 a pop!! Never mind spending that much on everything. I think £150 is a fair amount..

Yanbu to leave it, although it does put you under a lot of pressure! I wish you luck!

but not everybody buys throughout the year! Everyone does things differently ffs and what a boring place the world would be if we all did the same/.

My DD is getting about £50 spent on her (she is only 1 though) my DH is worse, his total spend is about £12!!

But doesn't it depend on how old the children are? Surely people aren't spending £15 on teenagers.

i get paid on the 21st and anything i need will be bought after work that day....
