for my 14 yo DS, until he is at the very least 18 yo? His exploits this year have included rolling down a very large hill in a tractor tyre, knocking himself out kicking a football over his head, leaping from one tree to another and then down to the ground (obviously pretending to be a squirrel!) and nearly breaking his leg, gashing his leg badly while dashing through a thicket of brambles and getting a twig stuck in his leg, having 3 x-rays on his shoulder, arm and hip and now gashing his hand tonight while climbing a chicken wire fence to retrieve a football. I'm sure there are others but I can't write them all down Grin WIBU to freeze him for the next 4 years and hope he defrosts with some common sense? Grin

Surely tho you'll just have froze him at exactly the same developmental spot he's at now, so really you'd just be delaying the inevitable :o

Just wishful thinking Wink

Could be worse - think how much you would have had to fork out in vets bills over the years if he had been a cat/dog/insert favourite eejit pet here!

apart from the accidents, i think it is wonderful a 14 year old is still playing outdoors. I wish my 12 year old nephew would get his head out of the xbox.

but freezing will not work, as he will be the same.

How about one of those Zorba balls - big inflatable thingies ? you can roll down hills and walk on water with those.
