I have a confession to make.

In my Asda delivery today I had eight bottles of Iron Brew delivered - Asda's own brand.

I have to say, I cannot tell the difference between that and Irn Bru.

(My purse can though )

Aposropheuse - I like Asda's own Iron Brew too, there's less caffeine in it, so it doesn't send our unborn into a tizz. I had one glass of the real stuff and ended up with it doing riverdance on my bladder all sodding afternoon. Not fun.

I have a confession to make. Despite living here for years and yesterdays name change, I've never tried Irnbru. The smell of it is enough to put me off (have tried tablet though).

Feijoa - not liking it is one thing (I can only drink it when I'm hungover or have low sugar!) but you've got to try it! Don't mess about with the diet version, now...!

I think you might be able to get irn bru bars in one of those really expensive sweet shops that have sprung up all over the country. I'm sure they had them in the American Candy shop in Queen Street in Glasgow.

Mind you, you will probably need to re-mortgage your house to buy one!

You could put the 20p towards a bottle of Tizer forgetmenots.

Apparently Barrs don't make them anymore, you can get Wham Fizzy Brew bars though. DH has been packed to the shop to see if he can find any....

My lovely DH has come back with a wee bag of gummi sweets and a curly wurly as some kind of compromise. It's not the same, but it will do. For now.....

Looks like the Scottish bonnet emoticon no longer works - maybe they only switch it on at relevant times - but the Christmas ones are currently working
