My ds has bought his teacher a pretty little wooden sign saying 'best teacher' for xmas.

Given this seems to be a naff idea, should I bin it, give it to charity and get her wine instead?

DS's teacher is being given a multi pack of glue sticks.. I THINK she will appreciate them, they will get used in class for sure.

Lovely present. I am sure the teacher will be very happy love.

UniS - I would LOVE a multipack of glue sticks! I am a support teacher, wasn't included in the doling out of resources.... had to beg, borrow and steal pencils and whiteboard pens! Had to buy my own glue sticks and some bugger has found my stash and keeps nicking them!

I would also love the wee sign. In the days when I had my own classroom it would have been hung on the wall. Nowadays it would get stuck to a cupboard door... next to the padlock I will shortly be fitting to keep them off my glue sticks and blutack!
