Give them to the charity shop nearest the school with the packaging and more importantly all the little messages written by the children still on them - they were packs with to / from panels on the side

I noticed them this morning looking for a coat for DD. 10 mugs all with little messages eg - to Mrs X thank you for being a great teacher love X

DDs in that teachers class this year and while I don't give mugs as I don't like them it puts me off buying her anything at all I usually give teachers wine

There is worse stuff than kid food - if it tastes good, I eat it Grin There are some things you just shouldn't think too hard about!

I was given a "thank you Teacher" mug about 15 years ago. I still use it and think of Henry when I do. Not sure what I'd do with 10 a year though.

There is one mug DH did keep. It says "World's Greatest Cat Lover" (DH told the children we have a cat so that was sweet). Except that the way the words wrap around the mug, it looks like "World's Greatest Lover" - we were stunned when we opened it as a gift from a 9 year old. It is cheap, pink and hideous and will not die even though it is now ten years old! But he loves itHmm His best ever present was 3 cans of Lidl lager and half a packet of jelly babies. DH doesn't drink lager or like jelly babies but it was from a lad whose family had nothing, and DH really liked the boy.
