It's almost pitch black outside at sunset, in winter, up north, where it's been raining all day. O.M.G.!!!

SoleSource · 21/11/2012 17:11

The SAD boxes are around £40 Don't forget vit D :)

It is gloomy, isn't it?

BupcakesAndCunting · 21/11/2012 17:16

MIMSTAR, I was only joking! Grin

The world is not going to end. It's cos it's winter and we haven't got all the light in the northern hemisphere now. Nothing more, nothing less. Combined with bad weather, we're just getting some moody skies is all. :)

freddiefrog · 21/11/2012 17:17

It's been a really bright sunny day here too, blowing a hooley though

HTH Smile

Alisvolatpropiis · 21/11/2012 17:37

I hate all this talk about the end of the world. It pushes all my irrational buttons. I was a complete state for months aged 10/11 because of the whole "the world will end on the millennium"...and that thing with Nostradamus and the albatross being spotted Sad.

Films like 2012 and The Day after Tomorrow are strictly off limits.

OwlLady · 22/11/2012 14:48

rofl at the diagram, what do you think I am cheekybaubles, a child? :o

Alisvolatpropiis, Nostradamus used to burn 'herbs' and inhale them, if that helps to reassure you of his authenticity Wink

It's bloody vile again today. Even my chickens don't want to free range

Alisvolatpropiis · 22/11/2012 16:24

OwlLady that does make me feel better Grin.

It's dark and bucketing down with rain in Wales so I'm going to say all is well and yesterday was a one off. Winter is so depressing when it's like this. I want cold but sunny. Maybe even a little snow. Is that too much to ask?!

OwlLady · 22/11/2012 16:25

at least if it was cold the ground would harden up and it would be easier to walk in iykwim

Sparklingbrook · 22/11/2012 16:26

I was just about to start rattling the pots and pans and make dinner then realised it was only 4.25. Sad It's pitch black outside and blowing a gale.

DinosaursOnAnAdventCalender · 22/11/2012 16:33

My toddler didn't want to get up after his nap today, I think he thought it was proper bedtime. I've just done the same too, wandered into the kitchen to make dinner and realised its only 4.30pm. It's been crappy weather all week, lots of wind and rain, it's getting very windy outside now though.

cheekybaubles · 22/11/2012 20:42

Not for you benefit owl it was for the poster who really was anxious about it alis sometimes science can help when you have irrational fears. Well I hope it did anyway. Smile

Alisvolatpropiis · 23/11/2012 08:05

It did Cheeky thank you Smile

cheekybaubles · 23/11/2012 09:32

You are most welcome alis I hope you are feeling ok Smile
