ASDA Xmas gift catalogue 'Stocking fillers'

I let my kid go through the catalogue marking what they'd like (let them dream.) then I saw the section of under £5 gifts was titled Stocking Fillers.
Makes me feel that my children and I are despised by a company. Have seen signs in shop windows before too.

JustFabulous- The Sainsburys round my way has a poster in the window saying

"Merry Xmas Everybody (Except MrsCumberbatch ya Cow.)"

Clearly hate me Grin

Welsh, same rules in our family too, always have been. Helps the DC to understand why they have to stick to a budget, and that people took time to choose the gifts for them.

My 5 year old cant read much yet. But I've already told her FC shops around for the best deals the same way I do. There has, after all, been a massive population boom has there not? He'll be skint if he doesn't get some good bargains! It's still magical for her and she seems to very much believe in him still.

Stocking fillers from ASDA are in case, you randomly want to fill a stocking and give it to someone, or are an example of what Father Christmas might put in your stocking.

My DC know that these days stocking toys are not made by Elves, but are sourced from companies around the world.

You're right, OP.

They despise you. And your children. They'd trip you over in the street if they saw you and then they'd laugh heartily.

I went out today and bought stocking fillers - lovely cute little things like a game (still wrapped up), optical illusion and a really lovely little bracelet. charity shop. £2 the lot. Stocking fillers are a rip off.....just use your imagination...
