Unbelievable. So she cried at an earlier hearing ( I'm sure I would if I'd been caught nicking 50 odd grand) and so this means she's in a fragile state and won't go to prison.
aibu there's different rules going on.
And yes, I have got a bee in my bonnet about the MP stealing saga.

I don't understand why she doesn't have to pay back the money she stole? Any normal person would have to do so. Why are thieving mp's apparently above the law? What is the point of the law if someone found guilty isn't punished in any way? She might as well do it again...

cumfy yes I do. And I presume that's how he was instructed on the murder cases too. I have instructed some high quality experts for my publicly funded clients.
