AIBU to find these ridiculous expressions rather irritating......

Why do people feel the need to preface a point with such crap? Where do they come from and why do people use them 'willy nilly' Grin

i hate 'moving forward' for some reason this has replaced 'from now on'. my boss will say 'moving forward all photocopy paper will be locked in the cupboard' it just sounds ridiculous.

I won't count The Bottom line with At the End of the Day.

the Bottom Line is the bit at the bottom of your mathematical equation (the bit between the and the )
in business, it's the most important part - what come when you've taken away the outgoings from the incomings.

The main one I can't stand is overuse of the word 'like'. My neighbour does this 'I was like, yeah, and he was like, yeah, and we were all like, yeah.' Argh does my head in. You're in your thirties woman, you're not a Californian teenager Angry
