I can and do charge late fees but that's not the point. I just want to be bloody paid on time every month without chasing 3/5 of my clients EVERY MONTH!!

YANBU, delayed payments are the main reason that dh went back into an employed position :(

I don't think you are being unreasonable but I think you have to give a bit of leeway with the child care vouchers element. I get paid on the 20th and my vouchers are always there to send on the same day. DH however gets paid on the 28th and sometimes it can be the 1st before the vouchers are with him. I think it just depends on the voucher provider. However, if people are paying you without vouchers then there is no excuse for late payment. I know a good bailif if it ever comes to it!
