DoodleAlley · 10/11/2012 22:35

AgentZigzag · 10/11/2012 22:38

Have you had any antihistamines?

DoodleAlley · 10/11/2012 22:39

DoodleAlley · 10/11/2012 22:39

OP posts:
DoodleAlley · 10/11/2012 22:46

lovebunny · 10/11/2012 22:46

could you ask my chest to stop coughing, my throat to stop hurting and my teeth, jaw and tongue to stop aching, as well? i'd really appreciate a break from this. i'm going to dose myself up with ibuprofen and go to bed shortly.

DoodleAlley · 10/11/2012 22:49

Would maltesers help? I'm willing to extend the licence to other malaises

OP posts:
AgentZigzag · 10/11/2012 22:54

DD gets sneezing fits from hayfever/grass/pet allergies, she'll be most chuffed to find maltesers will help Grin

Campaign to get them free on the NHS anyone?

squoosh · 10/11/2012 23:07

My Dad has sneezing fits when he drinks beer. Honestly once he sneezed I think 60 times in a row!

Bimblepops · 10/11/2012 23:08

You can take antihistamine's which have loratadine as their active ingredient when you are pregnant.

Good luck!

DoodleAlley · 10/11/2012 23:17

I stopped eating maltesers and within five minutes my sneezes returns.

If that's not conclusive proof then I don't know what is!

AgentZigzag · 10/11/2012 23:24

'If that's not conclusive proof then I don't know what is!'

You could get a research grant for that nugget Grin

MadameCreeper · 10/11/2012 23:39

Yanbu

CouthyMowEatingBraiiiiinz · 10/11/2012 23:41

S'not just me then? My GP has put me on Piriton on TOP of my year round daily cetirizine. And still I'm having sneezing fits where I sneeze so much I can't breathe.

Bastard hayfever in fucking November, it's not right I tell you, not bloody right!

DoodleAlley · 11/11/2012 00:29

Aha! I'm not going crazy.

Ok even I know that's a supposition too far.

I'm not imagining flipping hay fever in November. What on earth grows in November?

OP posts:
CouthyMowEatingBraiiiiinz · 11/11/2012 00:31

The Holly and the Ivy reading their calendar wrong?

DoodleAlley · 11/11/2012 00:31

According to Dr Google there can still be fungus spores triggering hayfever in November.

Bloody mushrooms.

DoodleAlley · 11/11/2012 00:33

I have had hayfever in early October but nothing so late. Am sulking at the world because it's cold, a month and a half til christmas and I'm lying in Bed sneezing. And I've run out of maltesers.

OP posts:
SamanthaStormer · 11/11/2012 00:34

Is it hayfever though?! Sounds like a reaction to something to me. (This coming from someone with multiple allergies and intolerances!) I've been off alcohol for a few weeks, as have been diagnosed as having a yeast intolerance and thought I'd better be good.
Back on the cider last night and within an hour my nose instantly 'filled up' lovely and I'm back to my sneezing fits of about 10 in one sneezes in a single row!

DoodleAlley · 11/11/2012 00:36

Hmm.

Can't think what's changed except being pregnant.

I'm going to isolate the plant my parents bought me a few weeks back to see if that helps but I'm on a different floor right now and still sneezing.

OP posts:
DoodleAlley · 11/11/2012 00:39

Though I'm 18 weeks pg and it's not been going on that lOng, in fact summer wasn't bad at all.

hmmpf off to try and sleep and dream of maltesers.

Will continue to sneeze think, and report back.
