To use the word 'cool'?

I'm 30 and have been saying it since I was at at school and now it's just part of my vocabulary.

A lot of parents who have DC the same age as me are in their early 40's and I sometimes feel like a bit of a teenager when I talk to them as I hear myself using words they don't like 'cool' and 'like'.

AIBU to be a bit paranoid about this?

Say what you feel comfortable with. People have been saying cool for a long, long time. I was also a teen in the 70's. I am not about to change how I speak. Within reason. My fil is in his 80's and has been known to say "everything is cool".
Younger persons aren't the boss of me. Wink
