I got complimented on my accent by a Dutch lady when I was on holiday this year. She said it sounded sing-song.

I guess to people not from this country that don't associate Brummie with thick, it sounds different!

I used to hate my accent but I love it now. And I am proud. Brum is massively underrated and we have loads to be proud of...beautiful parks, galleries, vibrant exciting communities, near some stunning countryside and some lovely people. And if others in the UK don't see it well, fook em the fookers

It's got to be Moseley, every time! My home area of Birmingham. Although if we went back I think we might go for Kings Heath, fast becoming funkier than Moseley, and you get more house for your money. What do you think, Witch?
