I like both items linked to and can see myself making similar. I've made a few items from trees and wood, for the house. I have saved both those ideas.

This house suits that sort of thing. It's old and it's crumbly and we are srrounded by trees.

I once made a lovely diaply of bullrushes which I collected. put them in the living room and when I came in from work the next day they had exploded all over the place. Apparently warmth makes them do that. Millions of frigging teeny tiny feather like seeds all over the room. Not a good look. beware twigs and shit.

I quite like it too - have had twigs and shit in my house before - but never paid for it! And I wouldn't pay for those either, but would make my own.

I used to have dried hops hanging in my kitchen too - also not paid for, the things grew in my garden. :)

I hate it but I LOVE my coat rack. DH bought it for me because 'you like shite looking things'.
