Who in their right mind decides to involve a 7 and a 10 year old in press ups and sit ups at 10 pm..... Typical, now they will never sleep.

DH puts DS to bed some nights. It involves screeching, laughing, giggling, wrestling, play-fighting, judo and usually a bit of sweat.

After about half an hour, DH leaves the room and tells DS (aged 8) "Now go to sleep".

yup, madness.

DH read a bedtime story so loudly tonight that I could hear it above the tv (and correct him when he said the wrong bit).
