To want something to get fixed and stay fixed?

We've been doing up the wreck of a house we bought for nearly two years. It's nearly finished. But I am sick and tired of getting thigs sorted, only for it to get spoiled or break a little while later.

So far wee had a leak in the (supposedly fixed) roof which has caused the (reskimmed and decorated) wall of the spare room to be ruined.

The latest thing is the new boiler programmer and wireless thermostat (which replaced a wireless thermostat that was installed after we moved in) seem to have packed up less than 2 weeks after they were fitted. I'm freezing!

Why can't we just deal with something and then it's sorted? It's infuriating and costing us a fortune

Ruby I will pay you serious amounts of chocolate if you can stop the bathroom floor moving so that the shower stays sealed.

Squiggle, does it need consolidating by screwing a layer of marine ply over it?

Ruby unfortunately the joist is moving Sad. Plans are in place, but from us, not from the sodding bathroom fitter.

Oooh, nasty!
